Big NEWS for you Katy Perry fans: a release date for her 3D Concert Movie has been announced! Hey guys, I'm Samia Khan, and you're watching ClevverMusic. So here's the deal: skip the fireworks this 4th of July and get your "Firework" intake at the movie theater, as Katy Perry's 3D film titled "Katy Perry: Part of Me" comes out on Independence Day.
And given the name, you'll definitely get to know a part of Katy, as the film will feature both behind-the-scenes footage of Katy's life, in addition to footage from her California Dreams tour. Kind of sounds similar to Justin Bieber's Never Say Never...which makes sense, since Katy's film was directed by folks from the production company Magical Elves, who served as producers on Bieber's 3D film.
And I know you all can't wait til the 4th of July to get your dose of of the "Firework" star, So...lucky for us, Katy has also released a 30-second TV trailer for the new film, that features some before-she-was-famous footage of Katy, and some concert clips.
